About this listen

Hosts Nic and the Captain invite you to grab a chair, grab a beer and join them as they talk some true crime. This is no ordinary garage: it’s a rabbit hole of true crime, with a generous supply of alcohol and banter to lighten the load. From international atrocities to heinous stories on (US) home turf, dive head-first into a different case each week, and enjoy a cold one whilst your there. If you consider yourself an armchair detective, you’re in the right place, and you’re amongst friends. For the mystery-seeker, True Crime Garage presents an archive of missing persons, unsolved and cold cases, plus accounts of infamous serial killers and chilling solved cases. True Crime Garage has just one rule: don’t litter. Remember to not take yourself too seriously because if you do, nobody else will. Starting in the 80s and then continuing for two decades, Toledo and northwest Ohio was experiencing an increase in violent crimes. Horrifically, abduction, murder, and rape were on the rise. Some of these cases remain open to this very day. Murder was difficult to investigate. Some cases were traditional homicides - person kills someone they know for reasons specific to their relationship. Others were more random. There were cases that were closed out with someone being held accountable for their actions and then there are cases that have fallen by the wayside. These cases have gone cold. But as we look back we must consider the possibility that one or more serial offenders operated in this area and went undetected. This week we take a look at the homicide case of Sierah Joughin. If you have information regarding the unsolved murder of Joann Jasso, Lori Ann Hill, or any information regarding serial offender James Dean Worley call the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office at 419-335-4010. If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Claudia Tinsley please call the Toledo Police Department at 419-255-8443. I have listened to dozens of true crime shows. I'd have to say this is my number one. I've listened to every single episode. There is a difference between the first year or so to the current year. They really developed quickly into a good flow. They are always respectful to victims and are funny at appropriate times. They don't go out of the way to be comedians but are funny nonetheless. It is awesome that they have had effect on helping real cases and advocate for the missing and unsolved. The music is top notch as well!

The show just gets better and better!

This one hits home because I was visiting Family in Harrison Arkansas near the end of August 2020 about 2.5 hours from Little Rock and had no idea this had happened until seeing this podcast!!

True crime garage is my go to podcast!!

Love the scope of the show, especially like the interview with James Renner. The Garage Guys draw you in little by little and manage to be both entertaining and passionate about the people's stories they tell.

Completely Addicted

The best true crime coverage I've fou d so far. And my search is over. Nic and the Captain make you feel like you are right there in the garage with them. They make sure that they are only sharing truth or they tell you if it is just a belief or speculation. Much love for these two and all they do to keep the podcast going!
