Because obeying God makes sense to us, in most cases, His laws appear reasonable and wise, and even when we don’t want to obey them, we usually concede that they are good for us. But the circumstances we find ourselves in often defy explanation. When unexpected situations arise that appear unjust, irrational, or even dreadful, we feel confused and frustrated. Trusting God

This book has given me perspective on the sovereignty of God and how He is with us even when we might doubt it!

Excellent book and reader!

This was one of my favorite books on audible - every aspect of trusting God was given and helped me in my walk with the Lord. Through the good and the difficulties God is trustable and faithful! I am going to get this book to read on my kindle as well.

Truth filled

Full of God’s word and scripture based truths. Sometimes the reading felt a bit dry but cannot fault the content. Overall a good read.

Will Definitely Listen Again!

Jerry Bridges does an excellent and thorough job explaining both the sovereignty and goodness of God. He doesn't dare suggest he knows all the why's of God's ways, but ensures the reader that God's ways are always for His glory and our good, therefore, we can and should trust Him.

A must!

So essentially for your walk with God! So encouraging to understand how to trust God while going through hard times! It's not easy, and this breaks it down beautifully...

Foundational and Transformational

Listened to this as a believer of 38 years and it revitalized a trust in God that was sorely needed. Not revolutionary truth, just a survey with some in-depth looks at truth I was already familiar with just needed it all connected together in one focused study

They say unabridged, but it's not true. The book has fourteen chapters, the audio files go up to chapter ten.

This’s the book what Changed my faith.
I’ve been christian for almost my whole life, but my faith was so foggy and confused by many theological views. But, through this book, I feel I finally found a solid truth and I’ll never be the same! I’m really thankful for God that I found this book!
While I’m reading this book, I could clearly understand why this or that happened to me, and how I can live my life in a way that please God.
I believe this’s truly God-honoring book!

Probably the 3rd most positively influential book I've been blessed by, after the Case for Christ and the Bible.
