Once again, Grisham proves that he is not only one of the best writers on the planet, but one of the most prolific. Frankly, you don't need my or any other reviewer's comments. If the title says Grisham, you buy it. Period.

Worth it

Good narration, good short story, keeps your attention. No regrets, listened during a short flight.

OK, interesting

A story or more of a preamble, it was interesting, but not compelling, not a page turner, not a doubt how this would end and I usually have a good time figuring out what may not happen next.

I've been exploring some of audibles short stories lately. when I ran across this prequel to rogue lawyer I was thrilled. hopefully there will be more books in the series. thank you.

Another winner

What made the experience of listening to Partners the most enjoyable?

As expected, another great read/listen. Never get tired of John Grisham. Read and listen over and over!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

as do all of his novels. Love the characters, the subject matter, and not being inundated with foul and unnecessary language.

What about Mark Deakins’s performance did you like?

Got the inflection down and is into the characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Love to see any of his novels turned into films. Have enjoyed most...The Firm did not hold up to the book. Tom Cruise would not have been my choice for the lead.

Any additional comments?

Hoping Mr. Grisham stays true to his style without falling prey to adding a lot of unreal steamy sex and horrific language as some of his peers have done. He has a fabulous style!

good story

very good story. Would make a good book. Needs to flesh out the characters. loved the ending would like to see more about their furure.

Must be running out of stories

I got hooked on Grisham with the Pelican Brief and the firm. A few good stories followed. In the past five or six years, it seems the storylines are forced and lazily thought out. I just expect more from Grisham
