Pretty good

I felt like this was worth the credit, but not saying it’s her best novel. I love she incorporates nature and fun facts. You feel smarter and more informed. It was undoubtedly predictable, but most HEA kinda are. A.C. does what she does and is flawless in her performance.

A must listen

It is so wonderful to have a new Gerri Hill book out and priceless for Abby Craden to make characters so real.
The very sarcastic Joni is on assignment in the mountains to write a scathing article on Kendall Lyons mountain retreat. The dialogue these two have is both flirty and caustic. The mountain setting, the obstacle courses, the teams of women doing things the could not have imagined brings a story of growth. Such a love story as Joni grows into who she really is at heart. Kendall finding joy again in her heart. I just love these mountain stories that Gerri Hill writes because I feel like I am there. This stories gives such an inspiration to seek your own soul as you feel the glorious experience the characters share. I just love this book and audible .

Lion’s Den!

I was thrilled to see a new book from Gerri Hill, a fantastic author. I felt like I learned something while reading this book. It was enjoyable. Fantastic performance by Abby Craden as usual!

I enjoy Hill’s characters and dialogue.

The plot was too familiar from her earlier works and from other works. I would like to have had more background on the other characters and a different conflict.

I always look forward to something from Gerri Hill and Abbey Cradden you can not go wrong. Just loved the story, can’t wait to listen to it again.

Gerri Hill is always a great choice

I love Gerri Hill so much! Everybook is like a medicine for the soul! This one is so fun ans light!

Eh, good. Not great.

I love Gerri's books, but this one seemed rather forced. Surface level, with no real development of characters, their relationship or this story overall, really. Like, they meet-they aren't each other's type scenerio, then the attraction is there, they give in & sleep together, suddenly they're in love without really having gotten to know each other. The back & forth between the main characters couldn't been so much more but just kind of fell flat. Not terrible by any means, but not Gerri's best. Abby Craden was great, of course.
