Explosive

What a wonderfully written story. This blend of suspense, danger and sinful delight of romance between Wells and Ivy was explosive. It is heartbreaking yet able build up strength of each character and the plot. I loved it and cannot wait for the next one!

Edited to add:
I forgot to mention that Sean Masters and Mollie Stark did a fantastic job capturing the nuances and emotions of the characters. Not to mention the deep timber of Wells voice was enthralling. Even the banter between them flowed so well it almost felt like i was watching a movie.

Loved this book

This is the first book I have read by brandy hynes and it was great the narrators were amazing. Can’t wait to listen to rest of this series!

Great story. Fantastic narration!

This book was awesome! Great story, and the narrators did fantastic! The build up was great. All the characters and personalities work well together. Great amount of spice, and love. Five stars!

So unexpectedly good

I haven’t really heard of this series but I’m so glad I gave it a chance. This book has all the right elements: strong plot, well developed characters, spice (authentic), all the drama, found family & like so many other things. I haven’t read the second one yet, but I’m so glad I have more books to read!

Burning Ivy was an absolute page turner, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! In addition to all of the twists and secrets there was amazing spice, banter and wit.
I honestly don’t know how to describe the plot without giving too much away, but if you like mafia/secret society, a strong & fierce FMC, a protective & dominant MMC and a found family that will give you all of the “warm fuzzies” then you will love Ivy and Wells story. 🖤

The narration was fantastic! This was my first time listening to Mollie Stark and she brought Ivy’s fierceness and her vulnerability to life perfectly. Sean Masters’ deep and commanding voice made him the perfect Wells. But he also did a great job bringing all of the other MMCs to life, they all have big and unique personalities and Sean gave them each their own distinct voice. 🎧

I am still blown away that this is your debut novel, Brandy 🤯

Normally I am more into the male narrator because we tend to focus on the MMC. This book is more from Ivy’s experience. All of Ivy’s sass and brattiness in the beginning were perfectly done. Her emotions were well played, the anger, the sadness, the fear and grief. Wells’s voice was also strong. The doubts, the anger and jealousy were well done.

This story was a roller coaster ride of action, romance and suspense. Ivy had to marry to get her independence and inheritance. She proposed to Wells- a perfect stranger- who surprisingly agreed. From that point on, Ivy life becomes something she never expected. She goes from a fun loving normal heiress to a badash woman that will literally burn down the world. Trained to protect and defend with death if necessary.
Wells has a secret agenda. He was a stranger to Ivy but he knows her well. He has been watching her for years. He is protective, possessive and will do anything for Ivy.

Wells comes with a group of guys that make Ivy their own. They become her family and love her. They will go to the ends of earth for her.


The story is very fast paced. Secrets are revealed, lives are in jeopardy and when Ivy comes into her own, the world wasn’t ready. She rose up from the fire and scorched the earth.

Strong characters, good plot and plenty of action and emotion.

Wow! Never a dull moment!

This was a touching love story with family mystery and intrigue. I loved how Ivy’s mind worked and that she took everyone by surprise with her heart broken and the schemes she pulled off as a result. It was emotional at the same time since the bond between her and the men had become so strong. I fell for each of the men and their love for Ivy. Their complicated lives kept the momentum of this story going and when it all unfolded I found myself wishing the book wasn’t coming to an end. My heart was on a roller coaster ride! The spice level was on point and hot as hell. Narration was excellent.

Loved it!

This book surprised me. I wasn’t anticipating Ivy’s journey and I am here for it!

Fantastic

Fantastic world with complex characters. This is the story of Ivy and Wells. Steamy with plenty of great banter between the FMC and all the male MCs. There are 4 male MCs in this world but it's not a RH. There is plenty of love between all these characters. Cannot wait to delve into their stories.

Definitely check TWs if you're sensitive to Mafia type stories and there are some childhood traumas discussed that may bother some.

The narration is Perfection! Both narrators do all the parts masterfully. You know which character is speaking before the dialogue gives you clues.
