Excellent short story with excellent narration. No extraneous sound effects, fluff, cutesiness, gushiness == a great listen.

I really enjoyed this book, will look out for more from this author Margot Hunt and narrator Therese Plummer.

Dead and Buried Deep

This was an entertaining story of a murder and secrets in a marriage. The adoring wife learns that neither she or her husband are what they seem. Beautifully narrated, Therese Plummer has a beautiful, expressive voice. I also loved the ending. Not the one expected, but what worked for them. Glad I chose this selection.

Surprisingly good

Many of these free audible originals are kind of garbage, but this short story was surprisingly good. Reminiscent of Gone Girl, I loved the twists and turns!

Glad I picked this one

Great story with a twist and a surprise ending. Held my attention the entire time

intriguing mystery

although i guessed part of the mystery early on the other half I did not until later in the book. the ending bugged me. i guess i was hoping for closure or more satisfying closure

Hated the ending

I loved it until the last chapter. But the ending ruined it for me. Avoiding spoilers, I understand why the characters made the decisions they made, I just STRONGLY disagreed with them. And that tainted the whole experience for me.
I would maybe still recommend it, because it was a short, easy, moderately engaging listen... but it definitely wasn’t my favorite.
