Reminds me of another series, but it original in its own way . Great voice acting, and story. Action packed.

Fun!

Enjoying the series! The fights scenes are good and don’t take forever. The plot is good as well! No harem or awkward romantic scenes. One of my favs so far of 2025 and the narration is on point! Next book please!!!

Really good!

This book was a blast! The characters, the game mechanics, and the fighting were all really cool. And the narrator was as awesome as ever. As for the story itself, I can’t complain too much. The plot was well-written and kept me hooked from beginning to end. I’m especially excited about the MC and how she’s going to develop. Keep up the great work, and I can’t wait for book three!

Very cool!

First of all excellent narration, the narrator does women as well as men, and you can actually tell the difference in the characters. The MC is likable, starts off as a little naïve, but grows into her abilities and started to develop a personality. The world is varied. The side characters are interesting and they are different points of view from the MC and the enemies that she fights. I personally don’t care what the enemies think but in this book, it was done very well and it wasn’t done that often very well done. my only Quan is the writers use monster too much. I.e. the monster this the monster that the monster ECT please find other words besides monster. I love the authors and I can tell the writing style from Azri as well as VA Louis i’ve read the Kindle book as well as listening to the audible book. This is an excellent series, light on stats, some people may think too light, but if you don’t mind that an excellent book, I urge people who like RPG’s to read this series and give it a shot, you might be surprised.

Likable MC growing into her powers and developing personality.

Like how descriptive it is, The struggle that Amber and her life or death adventures has taken her on. Kind of like Solo Leveling but the main character seeking her own path, hell or high water.

Fast paced but fun

It actually wasn’t that bad but some parts were repetitive, I think she says “it was great” about 70 times. The story expanded on the first book really nicely. Just as I was beginning to feel some of the really long fight scenes we getting a bit dry, they switched it up from other perspectives which was a nice touch. Waiting for book 3.

“It was great”

*May contain spoilers unimportant to overall plot*
Compared to the first, the story has started to feel a bit inconsistent. Lots of small things--like the King using Val's name in front of other people instead of V like in the first books.
Comparatively that's not the bad part... I just think the book is starting to drag because of the constant long-combat fights with very little dialogue that just goes on and on with everything getting a second or third phase. Along with that, everything that is "rare" isn't actually that rare??? The first books set the stage of what could be expected in this world but the second book just seems to contradict things. for example, the legacy branch is supposed to be something legendary and only heard in stories--something most people don't know exists. yet everyone and their mother suddenly has a legacy branch. even characters not particularly important to the plot.
The story is still overall fun and I like where it is headed.

I love character descriptions in the way that the book was laid out didn’t feel rushed. Seemed like there was always something new about to happen.

I love the writing and the way it feels like a true RPG
